Software Security (Bachelor Seminar)

Description

In this seminar, we will explore various aspects of software hardening, ranging from identifying security vulnerabilities to implementing protective mechanisms. The seminar is intended for students who have an interest in software security and are keen to engage with the challenges and solutions in this field.

Seminar Style

The seminar will be organized as a scientific conference. You will present your research in written and in a presentation to your peers. This is a block seminar with an introductory meeting at the beginning of the semester and a block of presentation days at the end of the semester.

Each participant is required to...

  • Write a short paper about a topic in software security.
  • Give a presentation of his paper.
  • Provide feedback for presentations and participate in discussions.

Meetings
  • Introductory Session 22.10.2025: Attendance at the first session is mandatory! Anyone not present cannot take the seminar.
